Hi everyone, it’s taken a lot for me to create this go fund me but my boyfriend and I are in desperate need of help. As many of you know my entire apartment flooded and nearly everything inside is now trashed. I don’t have renters insurance (I know that’s my fault but in times like now with not much help from anyone, everything is so expensive and it’s hard enough to just even pay for the basic utility bills at times) As if that wasn’t bad enough my car obviously is totaled from the flood too. I was a full time gig worker, I relied on my car to make my income, now Im out of work, but the bills don’t stop. Although my apartment has a Condemnation sign on it from the city, stating nobody can live in any first floor unit, due to hazardous conditions until told otherwise- when asking what were suppose to do and what happens next with the sewage and water in my ENITRE apartment, a smell out of this world and a condemned sign from the city saying nobody is allowed to stay here- I was literally told “ ignore the sign you could stay in there.” From an apartment worker! I’m at a loss here, I’m thankful were safe but I’m completely devastated and I have lost absolutely everything. Anything helps, donations, resources and even prayers.
