We Lost Everything in Gaza – Needs Help to Rebuild Life
Donation protected
My name is Elham Balousha, and I’m a Pharmacist , wife and a mother to a beautiful baby girl who has only known the sounds of war and the sight of destruction she is one-and-a-half-year-old daughter still cannot walk due to severe vitamin D and calcium deficiency caused by malnutrition.
The war destroyed our home, my workplace, and the life we once had. I also lost my beloved brother—he was killed during the war. That pain is something no words can describe.
Before the war, we lived in our beautiful home in Gaza. We were building a life — my husband owned a private medical store for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, and we were working hard to provide a safe future for our daughter. But in one moment, everything was gone.
An airstrike destroyed our home and my husband’s store — both completely flattened. Along with them, we lost all our savings stored in the house, which were around $50,000, and our car, which was worth $20,000.
Today, we are living in a tent — no electricity, no clean water, barely any food, and no medical care.
We are trying to survive, but life has become unbearable.
This is my baby girl. She has never seen a real home, never had a bed or toys.
Her whole life has been inside a tent, surrounded by dust, noise, and fear.
(Please see the photos attached — our destroyed home and our daughter trying to smile in the tent we now live in.)
From the heart of a mother who’s broken, and a wife trying to protect her family —
I’m asking for your help.
Your donation can give us hope again.
A roof. A room. A future.
Even if you can’t donate, please share our story.
Help us rebuild the life that was taken from us.
With all my heart,
