We Lost a Hero
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of June 7 Brett lost his 11+ year battle with cancer. He fought everyday but in the end his body just gave out and we lost a husband, father, friend and hero to many. Brett and Tamara were both from the Northwest originally but relocated to the Las Vegas Valley in 2000, having built a life from themselves there and raising their two amazing kids. Tamara would like to have multiple celebrations of life for Brett, one being in Vegas and the other in Seattle, so his many family and friends can come together to celebrate the amazing man he was. Brett left a lasting impression on anyone he came across, now lets give him a proper send off. Please help in providing the funds that are needed for us to celebrate the man Brett was and the legacy he leaves behind.
As a close family friend of Brett & Tamara's I have set this Go-Fund Me up to help Tamara not only pay for the multiple memorial services being held in the Seattle area and on September 21 in Las Vegas but also the medical bills that Brett acquired fighting this awful disease. The funds will be used to pay for food, venue, memorial cost and the like. As the funds have come in I have been able to withdrawal them and deposit them directly into Tamara's account allowing her to use them for the above mentioned memorial services and then the medical expenses.
I can not thank everyone enough for all the generous donations that Tamara has received. This has meant the world to her and the kids and allowed them to give Brett the send off that he is deserving of.
Thanks and much love,
Shari Ater
