Socks has again gotten terribly sick and will require hospitalization. He has a very severe UTI and possibly failing kidneys. It's really hard for him and I, he's never had major issues so close together before, and he was very happy for months before this randomly struck.

He's only six, I've had him since birth, and we share about as strong of a bond you can get between man and cat. He's my best friend and a huge part of my life.

This should be the last fundraiser. Unfortunately, with his condition going in being poor, combined with potentially failing kidneys, there's a possibility I'm really looking at the end with him. He may not make it much longer, but I've never given up on him before and I have to stick with him until the very end. If he goes, he goes knowing that everyone who loves him stuck with him and did everything they could until the very, very end. You should be refunded if that's the case and I don't have the full bill expenses.

There's still plenty optimism to be had. If he gets through this UTI, which there's a good chance he does, he should live happily for another year at his stage of kidney failure, or even much longer with a miracle. We need to do everything we can, he deserves it. Life has been so unfair to him. I won't ask for as much this time, and honestly I'm not sure what the goal is yet. Anything at all is incredibly appreciated.
