Hi. My name is Casper, and my family is in a crisis right now. A few weeks ago, my mom got an eviction notice for being two weeks late on a rent payment after not being late for five years. We have been scrambling to get a new place to move to, and thought we had found something that would be perfect. We were supposed to move in tomorrow. We found out today that that apartment was a scam, and they stole $1300 from us through this. Our current residence(the one that is evicting us) has given us until Monday 1/16 to leave. We have no apartment to go to, no money to pay application fees, and essentially no hope. Please, if you can provide anything, we will be eternally grateful.
EDIT: The previous goal was $1300 to make up for what we lost, but due to other costs that go into finding an apartment and moving, we are raising the goal.
