Sam & Eddie are going to Vegas again this year!

Both have qualified for the Junior Bowlers Tour’s (JBT) invitational tournament, TPC (Touring Players’ Championship). As a bonus, Samuel has also qualified for the prestigious Junior Gold Tournament in Detroit, Michigan.

Sam’s first stop will be in Michigan to bowl Junior Gold and meet several college coaches. Then he’ll meet Eddie, his Mom, family, and friends in Vegas where they will both bowl JBT’s Touring Players Championship.

Sam and Eddie dream of being the best bowlers they can be. They both want to go to college, bowl in the PBA tour & bowl their hearts out! This dream can become a reality due to amazing support from family, Coach Bob Hanson, Parker, Bill, Jeff, Jessica, and the other folx at Stone 8 ProShop. And let’s not forget the importance of hard work.

Last year, we couldn’t have made this trip without everyone's support. We are so grateful for everything you did to make this dream a reality last year. We are looking forward to another year competing in Vegas, with the bonus of Sam going to Junior Gold in Michigan.

Sam is currently 30th, out of 159 scratch division players, and Eddie is 36th out of 151 handicap division players stretching over 9 states (WA, OR, CA, CO, UT, AZ, TX, NM, NV). The top 32 qualify for the 2024 Elite TPC!

It's been a fun bowling season, so far, with so many ups and downs. Sharing highlights of each boys season below:

Sam 2024 Bowling Highlights

Sam has qualified for the final round in almost every tournament this year. He’s inching closer and closer to a JBT win
Sam has two 2nd place finishes this year, only missing the final round 3 out of 12 tournaments.

He has bowled a couple of WYBT (Washington Youth Bowler Tour) tournaments
He won a WYBT after getting 2nd in Spokane, WA
Finished 2nd place in a King of the Hill qualifying tournament, qualifying for the Coronation on April 20th in the scratch division
Qualified for PEPSI State finishing 5th

Eddie 2024 Bowling Highlights

Eddie won a King of the Hill qualifying tournament, qualifying for the Coronation on April 20th in the scratch division
He finished 5th in the Junior Masters scratch tournament
Was 10th in the scratch WA State Masters tournament
Qualified for PEPSI State finishing 7th
After an amazing 2023, where he finished 1st overall in JBT, Eddie is finding that he is more competitive in the scratch division, which he’ll do next year

They live, breathe, and do everything they can to bowl as much as they can.
