We Didn't Start the Fire, But We're Running 100km to Stop It
The "We Didn't Start the Fire, But We're Running 100km to Stop It" Unofficial Canadian Pro-Endurance Fun Run for Wildfire Relief.
On August 2, 2025, Reanne, 23, and Jasper, 22, will embark on a 100km journey to raise money for the Canadian Red Cross Wildfire Fund. Initially, they were supposed to attempt their goal of completing a 100km race in May, 2025, but immense smoke from the Northern wildfires prevented them from doing so. Given the circumstances, they decided to take a DIY approach by setting off on their own and pairing it with a fundraiser for those affected by the wildfires.
As a donor, your contribution to the Canadian Wildfire Fund will enhance Canada’s readiness and response to the escalating wildfire risks and bolster resilience. Your support may be used to address preparedness, immediate relief, and longer-term recovery for wildfire events within Canada.
