Our dear colleague, Pam Butler, has been out from work since December 9, 2020.
I'm saddened to share her son JP, one of our former CareMore case management teammates, is battling a very serious medical condition. He was hospitalized in Texas, where he resided. After nearly a month long hospital stay, the doctors recommended hospice. His hopeful family decided instead to fly him to California to seek a second opinion.
JP has been home for the past 3 weeks, under the loving care of his mom. Pam is his caretaker and managing all his medical needs such as appts, insurance, etc like the superstar care coordinator she is.
We want to be able to support her to be with JP during this most difficult time. She has nearly exhausted all her PTO, unable to qualify for FMLA, yet carries the responsibility of maintaining her job for her family.
We are not only a team of co-workers, but we have become FAMILY.
Please DO NOT feel obligated, but if you would like to contribute please consider donating.
Please lift them up in prayers, which mean so much to her.
Pam did give permission to share her hardship. We would like to keep it within our CareMore family, please do not share beyond us so we can respect her and her family's privacy.
Thank you, and God Bless you all.
