On Saturday February 23rd,
Our friend and fellow agent Aldo Linares wife Monica had a brain aneurysm while they were on a couples Dinner with 8 other couples from their Church at the Stinking Rose in Beverly Hills. Monica set her head down on the table after dinner with her arms limp. An RN was sitting at the next table over who helped them set her down gently on her side while paramedics arrived. Monica was rushed to Cedars-Sinai where she was put on life support. The brain aneurysm caused a stroke Which collapsed her lung which sent her into a coma. Today has been over a month at Cedars where Monica have been staying day and night. Monica has had 9 surgeries thus far. 5 neuro surgeries, 2 heart surgeries, and two Arterial surgeries. She’s been through a lot. Nonetheless, Monica is no longer on life support and awake. Some medical professionals including doctors are calling her a MIRACLE. The next chapter for monica and I will be recovery. Doctors are recommending an Acute Therapy Facility for an undetermined period of time. She is not able to walk yet. This journey will surely be a marathon.
We feel God was at work from the start. Dinner less than a mile(.8 mi) from Cedars Sinai, RN sitting next to us at dinner, and with 8 spirit filled couples who prayed all night in the lobby.
We ask for continued prayers in this season of challenge
