Kidney disease& Jasons journey back to good health
Donation protected
As many of you may know, Jason has been fighting an uphill battle with his health since the middle of 2015.
What started as acute kidney injury soon spiraled into other life-threatening ailments such as conjestive heart failure.
By mid 2017 we received the devestating diagnosis that his kidneys were failing and he would need to go on dialysis while awaiting a kidney transplant.
Fast forwarding to present day, Jason is still doing his dialysis 3x's week.
Then last week we got a call that I can promise we won't soon forget!
A complete stranger living in the same area happened to see our story online and by the grace of God decided he'd get tested! He is a match and as we officially scheduled the transplant to take place!
For the first time in yrs. we began to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Throughout the ups & Downs in the last 3 yrs we have purposely refrained from creating a GoFundMe page because (although tough) we managed financially and felt others needed it more.
However, now with the transplant scheduled for early on in March as well as Jason needing to stay in MN for nearly the enntire month, not to mention our normal living expenses at the home front, we have little choice but to finally reach out to our family and friends in hopes of some extra financial support to help cover travel & lodging for ourselves as well as for his donor and support person!
So PLEASE! If you are able to donate to help cover cost it would be greatly appreciated! Even the smallest amount will add up and make a difference! Also please share this on social media to help get the word out! (After all, facebook is how our donor saw Jason's story)
We are beyond blessed to have a donor that found us and we are filled with gratitude!
Thank you for taking time to read our cause and help get the word out!
