Neil & Heather McCormick moved to Mission in 1981. Opened a very familar store to many called the BARGAIN STORE. Located on Railway ave in Mission BC since 1987. This coming June they will celebrate 30 years in business.

Neil & Heather were married in 1958. They would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary next month being March. Being together for well over 60 years, if you include dating & their engaged time.

Neil was a big part of the behind the scenes operations of THE BARGAIN STORE right from the start. Neil became less visible as his health declined, but have no doubt Neil was still playing a very important part to the stores operations.

It is with a very heavy heart that we advise Mission lost a very wonderful individual & has left behind a very caring, heavily involved in their community, family behind. Neil will be missed by many and most loved my his family.

Heather, as most of you know has suffered far to much hardship in the last couple years with the most recent being a huge flood in her store. With great difficulty getting the repairs going one can only imagine the financial strain coming forth for funeral services for her lovely husband Neil.

Folks, I'm asking, on behalf of one of our Mission Page * GIVING BACK * for all of those that are able, can WE PLEASE assist our wonderful friend Heather? The one who would NEVER take a hand up, but rather, is continually giving a hand out to assist with ANY amount they are comfortable with? TOGETHER WE CAN EASILY DO THIS .....every single penny will make a huge difference. Thank you ALL for considering helping this great MISSION BC Family & their wonderful, little, treasured store.
