My husband and I have been married for two years and have always dreamed of growing our family. After more than two years of trying, we were diagnosed with infertility. Over the past year, we have pursued fertility treatments and, after four rounds of IUI, we were overjoyed to learn we were pregnant. Sadly, our joy turned to heartbreak when we miscarried at 7 weeks. With guidance from our doctor, we are now moving forward with IVF, which gives us the best chance of welcoming a healthy baby. Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover fertility treatments, and the cost of the procedure along with the necessary medications is estimated at $26,000.
