Hello all!
…and they’re off!!
We are raising money to fund the transport of aid and medical supplies and equipment to Ukraine. The supplies are destined to go to a rehabilitation centre in Nazaret in western Ukraine. We will drive to Ukraine and deliver them on 3rd July 2025.
We previously took 9 vans, in 2022, with the trip being funded by the Leeds Ukrainian Community. Once again, for this trip we are looking to raise funds via this page.
This year, we've already taken SIX tonnes of urgent, very high value medical aid and equipment, which will be helping to save lives within hours of handing it over.
Every donation will get our aid a few miles closer to where it needs to be and will help save lives & help to rehabilitate victims.
We are using this GoFundMe page to fund our trip new trip! Every penny goes to our direct costs of fuel and ferries!
By way of a recap, we already own the vans and insure them through our business, and the drivers are donating their time free of charge. The journey from Leeds, to the border crossing at Medyka, takes approximately 30 hours each way (if driving non-stop) or a 3,000 miles round trip! It costs approximately £1,500 to fund a return trip per van. This includes; fuel, ferry cost, toll road costs etc.
We will keep you updated on where our vans are on their journey, via social media (X and Bluesky) and via our YouTube channel and TikTok (aid2ukriane) . The YouTube link below shows our previous trips (it will also be updated for our upcoming trip).
Our first trip was publicised in the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Many thanks all!!!
