On Friday, September 7th, Kevin Sarsick was riding his motorcycle home on Interstate 87 when a vehicle entering the highway from a rest stop merged into his lane, causing a collision and throwing Kevin from his motorcycle.

Initially unconscious and unresponsive, Kevin was transported to Albany Medical Center's trauma unit where over the course of ten days he was stabilized and underwent over twenty hours of surgery to reconstruct nine fractured bones, including his femur. Following his care are Albany Med, Kevin was transferred to Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital before being discharged to continue the long, arduous process of recovery and rehabilitation at home.

A United States Airman, a volunteer fire fighter, and a long time friend of Scouting, Kevin has time and time again selflessly given himself to countless others in need.  Now we, his friends and family, hope to ease the financial burden his care has placed on him so that he can concentrate on healing and restoring himself to full health.
