Hello, my name is Ecksa, and today I am reaching out with the heaviest heart. My family and I are asking for help as we prepare to lay my beloved sister, Kenyanta — our sweet Keekee — to rest.

Keekee wasn’t just my sister.

She was my baby sister, my first best friend, and the person I fought for every step of the way. I was her advocate in life, and I’m still fighting for her even now. Losing her has shattered our hearts in ways we never imagined.

Keekee leaves behind her three beautiful children, who were her entire world:

She also leaves behind our mother, who has poured her whole soul into caring for Keekee and her kids.

What makes this even harder is that Keekee did not have life insurance. I tried so many times to get her covered, but after her cardiac arrest, no insurance company would approve her. And now, in the middle of our grief, we are struggling to afford the cost of her services and to bring her remains home to our mother where she belongs.

We have found a funeral home willing to help, but we simply don’t have the funds to move forward. We are humbly asking for any donation you can give. No amount is too small. Every dollar brings us one step closer to giving Keekee the peaceful, loving farewell she deserves.
