Like so many others that have been affected by this pandemic, my family and I are experiencing similar hardships. I’m ashamed to ask for help when so many are hurting and don’t know where to turn. I’ve always been able to provide a comfortable living for my family that had allowed Teresea to raise and homeschool our girls. Out of five children from a mixed marriage, we have two left that are 13 and 10 yo girls. The company I was working for was having nationwide layoffs at the beginning of last year and offered a severance package. We thought we would be fine since we had started working for Uber and I was able to cash out my pension as well. I was wrong because then the pandemic hit. Driving became almost nonexistent but we were able to make do. Those days are gone. To make things more difficult, both my hips had to be replaced last year because the bone was dying from necrosis and now I’m limited on what work I can do. My doctor wants me on disability and Teresea is only able to make so much. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. To ask for help. I’m asking for your help. Anything would be appreciated.
