Hi everyone. We have a sweet family at Baldwin Park Elementary who needs housing immediately. The mom suffers from Lupus and has some other medical conditions. The daughter attends BPES and has special needs. The son (24), who is the sole provider and caretaker, is doing everything he can to keep the family in the area. He works at a restaurant in Baldwin Park and takes his sister to and from school every day. They do not have a car, so they walk everywhere. They have been living in Baldwin Park with the support from family, but unfortunately the family is unable to assist anymore. They have taken all the correct steps to get help. The mom has medical insurance through social security, and they are working on getting additional assistance through local resources, however things are taking longer than anticipated. They are having trouble getting housing due to the mom's credit and financial situations.

 

We are hoping to raise funds to assist with an initial payment to cover a few months rent for them so that they will be accepted. Any dollar you can give will be greatly appreciated. They are working with someone who can assist in creating a budget so moving forward they will have financial independence. Thank you for your generosity.
