Hi,
This is Vince Smith, Owner of The Vince Smith Hair Experience Salon in Battery Park City, Manhattan for 29 years.
Imagine fighting to stay in business in Manhattan all those years (and it is a battle) and suddenly, you are forced to close your doors. It's devastating.
Of course, sheltering in is the best thing to flatten the curve and stop the spread of this deadly virus. And thankfully, we are all healthy and safe. And we hope you and your family and friends are all healthy and safe.
Today, 4/17/2020, I found out that the Paychecks Protection Program ran out of money. And we did not receive the loan. Now we have to wait and see if Congress will approve more funds for this program.
Meanwhile, business expenses are piling up. And we have no source of income.
I'm reaching out to ask for your help so that I can continue to pay my employees, first and foremost, but also my landlord, our utilities and other business expenses, like insurance and supplies, which we will need when we reopen.
You, our clients and friends have always been loyal and supportive. Your support at this time would mean all the difference in survival and reopening.
We will be so grateful for whatever help you can afford.
And we can't wait to see you again!
