We are Charlie's Army

Hello, I am writing on behalf of Charlie Burleson & family. In October Charlie, a sophomore in college, left his college campus for a brief trip home to see why he wasn't feeling well. Never did Charlie or his parents, Becca and Todd, ever expect to hear the word cancer. After weeks of pain, infections, trips in and out of the ER, lengthy hospital stays and stumped doctors nationwide. The James has developed a treatment plan for Charlie.

This week Charlie began his first round of chemo treatments. We are confident the chemo will help shrink the cancer and give more clarity to the future. Charlie continues to be an inspiration in strength, patience, courage and resilience. Charlie's parents Becca and Todd as well as younger brothers Drew and Ben are a beacon of strength, support and love.

We are asking for as much privacy as possible for Charlie and his family. If you have questions, please reach out to friends and extended family of the Burleson's. We do not want to inundate Todd, Becca, Charlie, Drew and Ben with questions. Please feel free to send well wishes, cards and prayers.

We are hoping with the funds raised we can ease any financial burdens now and down the road. As well as allow Charlie to enjoy a vacation or some fun activities when he is feeling better.
