We are Building More Than Walls

We are currentely volunteering in Malawi with DAPP, collaborating on an educational project that supports 28 preschools across rural Blantyre, Chilangoma. In these areas, people deeply understand the importance of Early Childhood Development and put great effort into running preschools, even in challenging conditions.

The only support provided by the government is caregiver training, which is essential. However, without proper infrastructure and other resources, achieving the goal is difficult. Despite this, we have found a community that has started molding bricks themselves to build their own preschool—an inspiring step toward developing their community.

They have shown us their strong will to improve their area and their belief in the future, even as Malawi faces an economic crisis and hunger. 40 children are attending classes under a tree at Chikondi Preschool in Chimphanga Village.

We believe that with their engagement and your donation, we can truly work together to make this dream a reality.

Our goal is to assist in the construction and to support the maintenance of the remaining 27 preschools.

Somos tres voluntarias en Malawi, colaborando directamente con comunidades rurales que luchan por ofrecer educación a sus niños en condiciones muy difíciles.

En nuestro trabajo diario, acompañamos a 28 escuelas de educación preescolar que funcionan sin infraestructura, sin recursos y muchas veces... sin siquiera un techo. En la aldea Chimphanga, por ejemplo, 40 niños asisten a clases bajo un árbol, con la esperanza intacta de un futuro mejor.

Lo más inspirador es ver cómo estas comunidades, a pesar de la crisis económica y el hambre, no se rinden. Ellos mismos han empezado a fabricar ladrillos para construir su propia escuela. Ver su esfuerzo, su unión y su esperanza nos ha conmovido profundamente.

Por eso, hemos decidido lanzar esta campaña. Los fondos serán recibidos por una de nosotras y utilizados exclusivamente para apoyar la construcción de esta escuela y ayudar a las otras 27 con materiales básicos.

Cada donación cuenta, y con ella estás construyendo más que paredes: estás sembrando oportunidades, dignidad y futuro.

Siamo tre volontarie in Malawi con DAPP, impegnate a fianco delle comunità rurali che lottano ogni giorno per garantire un’educazione ai propri bambini, nonostante le enormi difficoltà.

Nel nostro lavoro quotidiano accompagnamo 28 scuole per l’infanzia che spesso funzionano senza infrastrutture, risorse e…senza nemmeno un tetto.

Nel villaggio di Chimphanga, ad esempio, 40 bambini seguono le lezioni all’ombra di un albero, con la speranza viva di un futuro migliore.

La cosa più toccante è vedere come, nonostante la crisi economica e la fame, queste comunità non si arrendano. Hanno cominciato da sole a produrre mattoni per costruire la propria scuola. Il loro impegno, la loro unità e la loro speranza ci hanno profondamente ispirate.

Per questo abbiamo deciso di lanciare questa campagna. I fondi verranno raccolti da una di noi e utilizzati interamente per sostenere la costruzione di questa scuola e per aiutare le altre 27 con materiali essenziali.

Ogni donazione fa la differenza: ogni mattone in più sta dando vita a opportunità, dignità e futuro.
