It was Lisa’s wishes to have an open casket service, as well as a burial next to her late husband in Centerville. We met with the funeral parlor, and the cost of this alone is almost $17,000 on top of all of the other expenses that were left while she was in the hospital for just under a month, and there was no will. As we are now hiring a probate attorney to assist with the real property but we do not want nor should we wait to give lisa her final goodbye. We are asking for your help no matter how small, as well as your shares even if you are unable to donate monetarily everything helps.
On Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, we lost a wonderful, well-known, loved woman. Lisa was known as a mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, teacher, mentor, among many other things. She influenced so many individuals' lives, from always being there, being the light in the room, being the person who always had a smile on her face, the person who would always sit there and be willing to listen to you. There was never a time Lisa wouldn’t have a smile on her face or a funny story to share.
Lisa taught music almost her entire life, between multiple different schools, even in her own home she would do 1 on 1 private lessons. She taught music at Clarke County Elementary School for 27 years, where she then retired. Lisa was in her family band (Exline Family Band) and Opry (Gander Opry). Lisa’s love for music never slowed down.
lisa was very active in the United Methodist Church, where she played the piano during services, worked in the office, and played for the children’s programs.
Please feel free to share to anyone who might be able to help during this time.
