Hi, my name is Natalie and I am asking for help. I moved with my disabled roommate in February of 2025, and things were going fine. I work for my roommate (Sarah) through Medicaid as her caregiver. Sarah has cerebral palsy and depends on me to help her daily with personal care, food preparation, and cleaning. On June 1st, we learned that her authorization for my hours had not been put in or approved. I cannot sign in to apply the hours I have worked and, to put it simply, we are struggling with everything right now. Without my paychecks, we can't afford rent, food, cat supplies, or paying bills. We have called places for assistance, and they want an eviction date before helping. We are working to be proactive in this and raise the money if we can. The rent, utilities, groceries, and cat supplies are what the money will go towards.
