I want to update that Candy Beaman is resting with the medication from hospice. Her vitals are very low, her breathing is very shallow, her time on earth is being cut short she is in the final stage of her life here with us . The family is asking for any and all help, to be able to give Candy a proper burial that she deserves. To know her is to love her. The love she had for her family and everyone she meet was very known, she is and always will be a beautiful soul. So please if you can donate to help ease the stress it would be very appreciated thank you in advance

Candy has been in the hospital for 2 weeks with 3 strokes and a seizure these 3 strokes have done significant damage Wednesday August 13th the will take her off of everything and she will be comfort care only so we are asking for help to pay for funeral expenses she has a life insurance policy but she hasn't had it for 2 years so she doesn't get the full value the family is so very greatful for any help you may be able to provide. Candy is my sister in law who is a very loving kind hearted and an absolute joy to be around. To know her is to love her ❤️. Thank you all for any help you may provide

Update today 8/10/25
They will be taking candy off of everything Wednesday. She will be comfortable care only. There has been no change in her condition.

Update as of 8/9/25
She was put on a bypap machine at night which is really not good because it forces air in and out just like a vent. They have her on high oxygen flow so far during the day. They still have her on a BP drip medication. No ng tube at this time but maybe today or Monday. But nothing has really changed so with out the bypap machine which is totally differant then a cpap machine. She can not sustain life.

Candy has been fighting with everything she has. Every little bit helps. She is a wonderful, loving, caring person. Please help in any way you can. Thank you in advance.

Summary of 8-7-25: Patient remains on the ventilator. MRI brain done yesterday shows significant areas of injury from the stroke. She moves her left arm only so far, she is not very alert, and will occasionally follow a command. The pulmonologist was hoping to get her off the ventilator today, but she did not take deep enough breaths, so we will try again tomorrow. The neurologist indicates he thinks she will have significant deficits from the stroke. The area of the brain for language is very affected, which can cause difficulties understanding, speaking, and swallowing. She may also have some paralysis of legs/arms – not certain yet on this. Bottom line is these strokes will affect her life much more seriously than her previous ones. If we can get her off the ventilator and she has setbacks or can’t survive without it, she may need long-term or longer-term vent support. If her stroke symptoms do not improve in time, she would be kept alive with 2 machines (ventilator and dialysis) for at least some time. One option is to work to get her off the ventilator, and if she deteriorates, then place her back on only for the purposes of having family arrive to say goodbyes and electing not to maintain her on longer-term life support with the devastating impacts of this stroke, but instead provide good medical care without machines knowing natural death will come.
