On the 25th August 2018 one of our valued workers Chris Kowalik was hospitalised and required emergency surgery on his arm following an accident involving an electric power tool.
After severing his foreasrm to the bone, Chris lost movement and sensation in his left hand.
3 surgeries later to repair tendon and muscle damage - Chris is slowly regaining movement in his hand, the tendon damage in his two small fingers may never repair themselves.
The injury sustained has resulted in Chris being unable to return to work for a number of weeks and now restricted to work reduced hours which has impacted him and his partner financially.
