Hello all! On May 14th 2022, Opie experienced 3 episodes of seizures. We took him to the ER and after several examinations, the doctors believe that it was caused by the chemicals in the flea and tick preventer. Since then, Opie has been on an anti seizure medication to prevents any episodes from occurring. However, little did we know that the medication would affect him in another area. Recently we noticed, he was inactive and struggling to pee and poop. We took him to the vet to find out that he has severe bladder stones. After serval non surgical attempts to remove the stones, the doctor has determined that his situation has gotten progressively worse and will require emergency surgery. The cost of the surgery will range from $5000-$7200. It hurts so much to see him suffer. For all of those who know him, know he is super sweet and loving. I wouldn’t do this if we really needed the help. Please help us fund his surgery. Thank you all. God bless.
