On behalf of our Service Advisor John Mancini, our store is setting up a GoFundMe account.  John was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.  It is a cancer of the bone marrow. We know that at some point our teammate will have to go out on disability, and we want to support him as much as we can.  He is a full time Service Advisor who has been with Microsoft for almost five years.  Caring and attentive his peers look up to him for the expertise a person with his level of tenure and patience can provide.  Outside of the store he is the father of two teenage daughters; one about to graduate high school and one in college. We would love to source enough that even being on disability John can still earn 100% of his pay.  John has also requested that Microsoft makes this big!  He knows he will beat cancer because of the support system he has, but he wants to help other Microsoft employees to feel equally cared for. He has pledged that whatever remaining funds are in the GoFundMe following his treatment that we will partner with HR and Benefits to set up some sort of trust fund.  An employee fueled “safety-net” that exists for all Microsoft employees to utilize when they are seriously ill.  We are asking that every employee who reads this to please contribute something.  No amount too small, every dollar of this will be used for the care of a fellow teammate.  At our store, we are as tight knit as a family and we want the whole company to share in the warmth that it brings us.
