Alicia’s story

I met Alicia in 2016 when our sons started on the same soccer team. Alicia and myself instantly hit it off and became best friends.
Alicia has 4 amazing children,3 boys and 1 daughter with special needs.
Alicia is one of a kind, she will do anything for the people she loves and she is always the one who can make light out of any situation.
In October 2022 Alicia was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer received chemotherapy , radiation and brachytherapy which she was so strong doing and was able to ring the bell as she left her treatment for what she thought would be the last time. Alicia then had surgery in August 2023 to remove cancer in her lymph nodes. Alicia was hopeful that was the last of her awful diagnosis but Alicia then was told she now has the diagnosis of stage 4 cervical cancer which has spread to her abdominal wall.
Alicia is now undergoing chemo with possibly immunotherapy to help her beat this disease.
Anyone that personally knows Alicia knows that she never asks for help and always puts everyone before her self.
The way Alicia is handling this diagnosis is inspiring and she proves to everyone daily just how strong she is, she makes everyone laugh daily and refuses to stop fighting!
Despite awaiting her recent diagnosis Alicia was by my side the day I got married, Alicia ensured everything was perfect for me, she did my make up (so talented!) and also took all photos for me, this is just one example of how Alicia puts everyone before herself- she was going through her own hard time and still showed up and went above and beyond for me!
I’m hoping to raise some money to make this a bit easier on her and her family during this hard time as she currently drives 2 hours each way to receive treatment along with endless appointments.
Any help is appreciated.
