Cancer Fight

Hi, I’m Andrea and I’m making this GoFund Me for my husband Timothy Peek.

We have two daughters, 10 and 6 years old, with another daughter due in December.

Tim survived his first cancer diagnosis in 2018 when he was diagnosed with stage 3b Melanoma after multiple surgeries, radiation and immune therapy.

This week we were told his cancer is back and has spread to his liver, kidneys, lungs and bones - spine, right arm, left leg, hips, ribs and sternum. The doctors have made comments about hospice care and his prognosis is 6 months to one year. 

 The masses on his rib bones have already started to deteriorate his bones causing his heart conditions (WPW and VPC) to become more frequent, causing pain with daily movements such as moving from sitting to standing, twisting, sneezing, crying, laughing, etc.

We need help with rent, utilities and copays while we navigate next steps and wait for disability to kick in as Tim is no longer able to work. He is a devoted father and hard worker, but his condition is slowly getting worse and preventing him from working.

Our time with Tim is shorter than we were expecting and I thought I would have time to get disability, social security and Medicaid in place so I could save up. 

I don’t have the luxury of time….

Extra funds beyond the original goal will go towards funeral services and cover bills while I take a short time to grieve before I go back to work. 

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has helped us - not just financially. To the people whom have shared meals with us, mowed our yard, helped by watching our children during hospital stays and emergency room visits, taken care of our dogs while I attend to Timothy, who have prayed with us and offered us a shoulder to cry on. 

I appreciate every single one of you so much more than you know.
