Tammy's Pink Ribbon Medical Fund

Tammy Kelly is one of those people that does not let any obstacle get in her way.  She is the most loving mother, grandmother and family oriented person that is loved by many.  Her goal in life and what she has worked so hard for is to see that her kids and the well being of her grand kids have all the tools and opportunities they need to succeed in life. Even while neglecting her own needs to make sure they are taken care of. She nourishes and motivates everyone around her when they may be down on their luck. When her kids are told by others that they are not good enough in a particular skill she proves them wrong by encouraging them that they can do whatever they put their minds to. This is proven by watching her son live out his dream on the court at Wichita State University. Not only is she a mother to her kids but take in any neighborhood kid and care and feed as if they were her own.  It broke everyone’s heart that knows her when they heard this strong loving women has been diagnosed with a life alternating medical issue.  

Tammy has been diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer.  Seeing this strong spirited individual being emotionally and physically affected by breast cancer is heart breaking. That motivation and encouragement that she gave to others so many times is now being given to her during this difficult time.  Tammy will require medical surgery that will have her out of work for up to 8 weeks.  This is detrimental to her wellbeing financially because she is self-employed and just opened up a new salon and if she does not work she does not generate income. The added burden of medical expenses with her everyday living expenses will be difficult.  With the grace of God and the help of family and friends we are faithful that prayers will be answered spiritually and financially.  Her family is reaching out to the community to help by asking for donations for this warm hearted women of God to get her through this difficult time.
