Lucy's Bat Mitzvah Project

For my bat mitzvah project, I'm organizing a family pet walk to raise money for "Let the Animals Live," a nonprofit organization in Israel, founded in 1986 dedicated to improving animal protection and promoting their rights.
Please join us on Sunday, April 14th at 10:00 at Preservation Park in Town and Country, for a fun walk with your family and pets. You can walk one loop around the trail which is 0.65 miles or go around a second time for a total of 1.3 miles. After the walk is complete, join us for refreshments for both people and pets, and play time in the park. The suggested donation for each family to participate is $18, but any amount will help make an impact. You are welcome to make a donation, even if you can not participate in the walk.
Let the Animals Live actively provides various services and initiatives aimed at helping animals in need and preventing abuse. Now the IDF soldiers find them in army bases and homes, lost and confused. "Let the Animals Live" collects them, scans for chips, and returns them to their worried families.
Emergency Services: They operate a call center and rescue vehicles to assist animals in distress, providing medical treatment and rehabilitation.
Adopt Me Project: A unique program where students rehabilitate dogs, providing them with care and training until they find permanent homes.
Animal Shelter: They house and care for hundreds of dogs and cats, providing medical care and rehabilitation until they are adopted.
Prisoner Rehabilitation Project: Dogs are trained by prisoners, aiding in their rehabilitation and eventual adoption.
Veterinary Clinics: They offer discounted medical treatments, including spaying/neutering, to both abandoned animals and the general public.
Legal Department: They handle legal issues related to animal cruelty, file complaints, promote legislative changes, and advocate for animal rights in court.
Cooperation with Municipal Kennels: They collaborate with municipal kennels to rehabilitate and find homes for abandoned animals.
Shelter in Kfar Ruth: They operate a shelter housing dogs and cats awaiting adoption, providing daily care and medical treatment without euthanizing animals.
Donations to "Let the Animals Live" support their mission to reduce animal suffering, provide medical care, and promote legal protections for animals in Israel.
Thanks in advance for contributing to this cause that means so much to me. Woof!
