On December 14, 2020, in the blink of an eye Trinity’s life was changed forever. Trinity was riding as a backseat passenger in her best friend’s car when a SUV hit the car head on. The vehicle spun out of control and the SUV hit the car again on Trinity’s side.
Trinity sustained numerous injuries, some that will affect her for the rest of her life. Trinity spent 9 days in ICU and underwent brain surgery. Ninety percent of the trauma she suffered was to her face and skull where she encountered fractures, broken bones and a huge gash on her face that received countless stiches. We are very blessed that Trinity is still here with us today.
However, the driver responsible for the accident did not have car insurance and walked away free of all responsibility and liability related to their reckless driving. Because of this we are asking for donations to help Trinity with her extremely high medical bills and the costs of future treatment. All proceeds will go directly to Trinity and any amount is greatly appreciated as we pray for her continued healing.
For those of you who don’t know Trinity, she is an 18-year-old, Chalmette High Graduate (class of 2020). She is currently a Freshman at LSU studying to be a dermatologist. She was home for Fall break from LSU when the accident occurred. We moved her out of her dorm after the accident so that she could be closer to family and various doctors that she frequently follows up with. Trinity is a brave, courageous, and strong young lady. Through all of this she has remained positive and thankful to be here with us today despite the challenges that lie ahead of her.
On behalf of Trinity and the rest of our family we appreciate the love, prayers and support shown over these past few weeks. Take care and hug your loved ones!
All proceeds will go directly to Trinity!
