Today (02/28/23) at around 5:20 Ellie was outside going to the bathroom when someone drove by the house and hit her. They didn’t stop and were unsure of who it was. She was quickly brought into the vet where she is currently undergoing surgery for a broken pelvis and internal bleeding. The cost of surgery for her is $4,000. I’m setting this up for my best friend who is currently 5 months pregnant and working full time. With a new baby on the way and other financial responsibilities $4,000 isn’t necessarily in the budget. Ellie is very loved by everyone and her and her family didn’t deserve this.
