Another Update on Will: He has been diagnosed with DAI a.k.a Brain Sheering. He has a severe brain injury and bleeding throughout the whole brain with a lot of it being on the right side. When he wakes up from sedation cognitive functionality, walking and talking are unknown. His leg is broken and will require surgery but is not the current priority.He will be kept over the next 3 months to monitor him and help wake him up. At this time he is under half sedation and responding to pain and some things like his sisters names and his girlfriends name. He gets very annoyed with the nurses when they do things like brush his teeth but calms down when mom and dad talk to him. He also turns to music which are all great signs! Thank you all for your continued prayers and support! 

Update on Will: They are trying to get the ok from the neurosurgeon to lighten the sedation to see how he does! They are going to start a feeding tube and are waiting for chest x-rays to see how they want to go about the fluid in his lungs. We are so thankful to all those that have helped us reach our goal!! Because Will is going to be in recovery for awhile and is going to need multiple surgeries we are increasing the goal to try to keep helping this awesome family! Thanks everyone!! ❤️

My name is Kailee and I have been friends with Jodee for 10+ years. I have watched her son Will grow up into the amazing young man he is. Last night Jodee’s world was turned upside down! Her son Will took their dog for a walk and while on that walk he was struck by a truck and thrown 80ft. He was taken to LRH where they then life flighted him to Primary Childrens. He is currently in a medically induced coma with severe head trauma and brain bleeds, a broken leg and possibly 2 broken arms. Things are so uncertain right now and Jodee is a single mom to her 3 kids. She will be out of work while Will is in the hospital and I know the medical expenses are so stressful. I want to try and take some of that stress away so she can focus on her son healing!
