Maria (Wilson) Holmes passed away suddenly on May 27, 2015 at the young age of 52.  She has left behind her husband Chris, five children and many friends.  The two oldest children, Megan and Shannon are her biological daughters and the three youngest are adopted ages 14, 11 and 7 .  Maria and Chris were foster parents for years, often getting calls from the county in the middle of the night to rescue babies in need.  Maria and Chris' love for children allowed them to open their hearts and their home to approximately 40 foster children over the years.  They loved each and every one of them and in the end adopted three high risk babies.  Although Maria and Chris never made the distinction between their biological and adopted children, the two youngest are special needs children with one having severe Autism and the other having Cystic Fibrosis and Diabetes.  Maria and Chris found their rythym to make this family work and function well with all of the doctor appointments, hospital stays and daily medications.  Along with all that comes with losing a parent/loved one, this family now needs to deal with finding their new way of getting through daily life.  Maria and Chris have given so much of themselves to others, I'm asking that we help relieve some stress and allow the family to concentrate on their immediate priorities.  Please donate whatever you can to help them cover their funeral expenses.  No amount is too small.
