Support Millie's Surgery for a Pain-Free Life

My sweet girl, first baby, and the best big sister to her human siblings is not doing well. Around 3 months ago, my girl developed a limp. It came and went at first but has gotten drastically worse in the last month. She has more bad days than good and can’t bear any weight on that leg at all now. After many vet visits and a lot of money, we were referred to a specialist where Millie was diagnosed with a bone condition that if it’s not fixed by surgery, she will be in chronic pain for the rest of her life. Long story short, her elbow is not attached in all the right places and is breaking off in small pieces and is affecting the whole front part of her body and ability to walk. It will continue to break off if not fixed. I genuinely hate making this post, but the surgery is insanely expensive and at this point, I don’t know what else to do. We’ve already spent a fortune just trying to find out what is wrong with her and on pain meds to keep her comfortable.

If you know Millie, you know she is truly the best dog you could ever wish for. She is so patient, protective, and kind to her human siblings. She is the sweetest pup and listens better than any dog I’ve seen. She is only 4 years old so this has been devastating for us and her. She is the most playful pup and can no longer play or run like she loves to do. If you know me, you know I love this girl more than I could ever explain. She got me through some of the darkest times and I’ve loved every moment of getting to be her mama.
