Help Us Not Be HOMELESS

Hello, my name is Makayla and I just found out I'm three weeks PREGNANT and along with that was diagnosed with Bipolar Depression Disorder and a Personality Disorder all in the same week. My husband just landed a really good job at Proctor and Gamble making amazing money but he doesn't get paid for three weeks. As of today we are HOMELESS and living in a car. We contacted Perry Human Services last week for help with paying the rent until he received his first paycheck. They said they would pay if he provided proof of employment, he did and never heard back. I received a call today (the day our rent is due) from them explaining that they could not help us now because we didn't meet the criteria and they couldn't provide us with shelter. We've called and left messages at Perry Housing Authority and Perry Manor and have not received any calls back. We have also contacted shelters and none would house a man and woman together. We've called every friend and family member for help and were told they couldn't help, didn't have the room or they were sorry to hear we were in this situation and wished us the best. We have three Guinea Pigs also with nowhere to go with them but with us in the car.

We honestly would never put anything like this online or even ask for help but we're desperate and homeless. Any money at all will help get us out of the car and keep us and our animals from freezing. We are even open to someone letting us into their home, basement, garage, camper etc.
