Alex’s Medical Expenses

As some of you may already know earlier today Jenna Pappas’s horse Alex passed away. Alex was out in the field playing when he landed on one of his legs wrong, this resulted in a break that was very. unfortunately beyond repair. Alex will be so greatly missed around the barn, he was such a kind, old soul who brought an ineffable presence to our barn. Alex had the innate ability to form a friendship with both horses and humans and truly embodied his name, Lasting Friendship.  Jenna had Alex since she was a child and was still competing in the 3’0 hunters and equitation last year where they dominated their division. Whether you were fortunate enough to ride Alex in IEA, hack him for Jenna, or simply pet his nose on your way down the barn aisle you know what a special horse Alex truly was.  He will be immeasurably missed by everyone.
