Hello everyone, my name is Chris. Our Beloved Theresa received news 6 months ago and has been battling since that will change our lives forever. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance on November 24th, 2024, due to hard breathing (couldn't breathe). She was admitted due to pneumonia. A few days in, doctors were still concerned about her breathing, so they ordered a CT scan to check her lungs. The results of the scan showed a spot on her right lung. The next step was to biopsy the spot on her lung. We waited a few nerve-wracking days to get the results, which came back as small cell carcinoma, A cancer which cannot be cured only treated . So they set up a PET scan to scan her body. The results came back showing a spot on her liver and pancreas. They are going to do a biopsy on those as well, praying it's not cancer. As of May 2025 ,Cancer Has in fact spread to Liver , and Pancreas, Also in her Brain , They treated The brain and was successful, Hoping Radiation and Chemo keep this under control. June update, They discovered a Spot on her spine that unfortunately took away her ability to walk , they treated with 5 rounds of radiation which helped , now she is going through PT and OT to gain muscle back and Learn how to be mobile on her own again. This is just the beginning for her as a long road lays ahead and tough times will come and go. She is a strong woman who will fight and keep fighting. Theresa is a mother of 1 and a stepmother to 2 others. She has 3 step-grandchildren. Theresa has been in the teaching field for almost 20 years, taking care of little ones. She is a very caring, kind, charming, funny, lovely human being that loves teaching and helping others. Now it's unfortunate her and her family are going to be needing help and prayers for her to overcome this life changing situation.
