My name is Jayati and I am fundraising for my lovely mother Rohini. Unfortunately, she was detected of cancer stage 4 bone metastasis. I have been long distance from my mom since 2016, I came to Canada on a study permit and built my career with many aspirations. Leaving far from my parents was always a struggle that I faced emotionally After a long phase I finally got my permanent residency and sponsored my mom to come to Canada on Supervisa. She was rejected twice for a visitor visa past 7 years and after a long struggle, she finally was approved for Supervisa. Now that I thought life will be smooth and fun spending time with Mom. My mom all of sudden collapsed and I had to take her to emergency at 4 am on March 19th, 2023 after plenty of tests doctors advised it was stage 4 cancer bone metastasis. My mom just wanted to come to Toronto and be with me and my sister who just gave birth to a baby boy and spend some time with the grandchild as any grandparent would desire. I am raising these funds to help pay hospital expenses for medicine and surgery because my mom is not a Canadian citizen. Thus, I need to gather as much as funds I can because the international travel medical insurance she has is not enough to cover her ongoing treatments I will appreciate all the help you can bring her.
