Shelter, Stability, and Hope
A fragile ceasefire is on the horizon and may bring long-awaited calm to Gaza - but for families who have lost everything, the road to recovery has only begun.
Across the region, destruction stretches as far as the eye can see. Entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble, and millions still without homes. Yet amid this devastation, the first signs of recovery are beginning to take root.
Life for Relief and Development (LIFE) is helping displaced families rebuild their lives with a tangible relief. Our mission now extends beyond emergency aid - it’s about restoring shelter, stability, and community following crisis.
As winter approaches, the challenges remain immense. With temperatures dropping below 10°C, thousands of families remain exposed to the cold and rain. The need for safe, insulated shelters and warm clothing is urgent, especially for children and the elderly.
Be a Part of Gaza’s Renewal
You can help families begin again by providing a winter survival kit, which includes:
- Tents & Waterproof Covers: Reliable protection against wind and rain.
- Heavy-Duty Blankets: Vital warmth through the coldest nights.
- Warm Winter Clothing: Coats and clothing to shield against illness and cold.
Each tent is a foundation of recovery; a place where families can rest, regroup, and start to rebuild their lives.
The Impact of Your Support
Your donations help transform temporary relief into lasting stability. Shelter provides a critical first step toward recovery, allowing families to focus on restoring access to education, healthcare, and livelihood.
With your continued generosity, LIFE has already provided durable winter tents to nearly 30,000 people, earning international recognition, including the Dubai Humanitarian Award (Spring 2025).
How We Deliver Aid
Our tents are manufactured in Turkey, built to withstand the elements, and shipped directly to Gaza through coordinated humanitarian channels. Inside Gaza, LIFE teams distribute and install them in communities such as Al-Musalaba (South of Al-Zaytoun District), Al-Dahdouh Street (Gaza City), Al-Atatra (Beit Lahia), Al-Mawasi (Rafah and Khan Younis), and more.
Blankets and winter clothing are sourced from Egypt and Jordan to ensure timely delivery before the coldest months.
Who We Are
Life for Relief and Development (LIFE) is a global humanitarian organization founded in 1992 and headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, USA. Dedicated to providing aid irrespective of race, gender, religion, or cultural background, LIFE has delivered over $623.9 million in humanitarian assistance across the world.
LIFE has worked in Gaza and the surrounding areas for over three decades, building relationships and trust with local communities and partners to ensure that every act of aid makes a lasting impact.
Hope is Rebuilding
Amid destruction, new communities are emerging: tent hubs that foster safety, cooperation, and access to essential services. These spaces are helping humanitarian workers establish ongoing support centers, including LIFE’s tent schools, where children can continue learning and rediscover a sense of normalcy.
This moment is a small turning point, carried on the strength of those who refuse to give up on humanity.
Join us as we help rebuild Gaza - one family, one shelter, one act of compassion at a time.
