I am so excited to be going on a mission trip to Poland at the end of July to teach children English through guided curriculum and games. Poland Day Camp is for children ages 6-14 and our ultimate goal is to teach these kids about Jesus and how much they are loved by Him. I cannot wait to be His hands and feet and to see how He uses me to minister to these children. This mission embodies everything that I want in a career, being able to teach young children every day.
This is the first mission I will be going on with my church, Redeemer Lutheran, and the first service trip that I have gone on since high school. While at The King's Academy, I was given the opportunity to build houses in Mexico three years in a row and then my senior year I flew to Kentucky to build wheelchair ramps for the elderly. Every mission trip I went on, I could see the impact that we were making on the people that we served and in turn, I learned so much and was immensely blessed by these people as well. To be given the opportunity to serve in yet another mission trip after five years is so exciting!
If you feel led, I would love for you to join me in prayer in preparation for this mission. Thank you so much for considering a gift to this ministry! I can't wait for July and to update you all on how God uses me and the rest of the Redeemer team in Poland.
