Seeking Human Kindness...

May Peace be with everyone,
My name is Dominique Deis.
As many of you may already know, my good friend Fernita Brice was diagnosed with breast cancer a little over three years ago at the young age of Thirty-Nine. After trying out natural treatments for a full year the lumps did not grow or shrink, her doctors convinced her to start with chemo then surgery followed by radiation. Each round of radiation had its portion of side effects. I've watched her suffer with the hope of someday getting back on her feet and doing what she does best, which means taking care of her mom and young son attending 12th grade this year.
In the spring of 2022 after completing radiation, it was revealed that her cancer was in complete remission.
Excited to build her life back up, she applied for her dream job and was offered the position. As part of the hiring process she had to have some labs drawn, and just like that no signs and no symptoms she found out that cancer had spread to her lungs.
One can only imagine the devastation...
She goes back to all this pain and suffering.
As the sole provider of her family, her resources were already limited. Going at least two years without a source of income, having to cover co-pays on specialist visits and medications, and special nourishment all over again it is fair to say she is having a shipwreck moment in her life.
Yet it is fascinating to watch her keep her faith throughout it all. Her strength is so incredible and inspiring...
That is where the idea of creating this fundraiser came from. Every penny received will go towards piled-up bills, help basic necessities and keep a roof over her son and mother's head while she is laying in ICU stabilizing pneumonia.
I know we all have bills of our own but I guarantee you any little bit will help, no amount will go unnoticed.
Dear colleagues, family and friends, I come to you today as humble as I possibly can to ask you to lend a hand to my friend in need and promise that God will bless you abundantly.

Thank you kindly
