When we go through hard times, it’s important for friends to step up and help any way they can.  Rod Elam had a triple bypass last November.  At a follow up in January he was told he had cancer.  His wife, Diane Merritt Elam, had a mild heart attack in February and they ended up doing double bypass surgery in March.  Rod was in and out of the hospital for months with no cure. Right now the family needs our help.  Losing Rod has been devastating to all who knew him, especially to his wife of 39 years.  Along with the loss of a good husband, father and grandfather, they are now faced with funeral charges that they simply cannot afford.  This is where friends come in…please give what you can to ease the financial burden on the Elam family.   Anything you can give will help.  Money raised will also help Diane get back on her feet again.  We will all be forever grateful.  RIP Rodney James Elam  9/3/56 - 7/11/18.
