Hello, my name is Amy and I am starting this GoFundMe for my Amazing Friend and Co-Worker, Tawana. Due to recent unfortunate circumstances she is forced to relocate to a new apartment, and as quickly as possible! Her kitchen recently caught fire due to faulty wiring and extreme negligence from building management. She also works from home, so it is imperative that she has a safe and new place to live and work immediately! This was not only her home, but her livelihood.

Although the damage was great, I Thank The Lord first and foremost that she was unharmed physically. We are extremely, extremely grateful for that!

Unfortunately, this has put our good friend in a terrible bind, leaving her temporarily displaced and on the hunt for a new home. As you can imagine, this has been quite scary and traumatic. This has also put a huge strain on her, not only emotionally but financially as well.

Anyone who meets this lovely lady knows she has the purest heart of gold and will make you feel like family from the moment you meet. She is always willing to go the extra mile to be there for her friends and family, Especially in their times of need… I can attest to that personally! She is the first to lend a helping hand and the first to check in on you. Tawana is a rare, positive soul who’s spirit and smile shine brighter than the sun! She always, in every instance shows up for her friends and loved ones.

So friends, let’s all come together for our dear friend/loved one in Her time of need and let her know we have her back! Donating any amount helps and the funds will go directly to her. Let’s pitch in as much as we can and get her to goal ASAP!
