Bali Retreat

In January of 2018, I started studying and practicing meditation and mindfulness every day. I’ve always wanted to start meditating, but the hardest part was to get myself to sit down and do it. After reading multiple books, listening to podcasts, attending seminars, and having a consistent practice, I’ve become more in tune with myself and others around me. As a teacher in today’s fast paced, social media driven world, I want to make an impact on the kids that I teach. I believe meditation and mindfulness are healthy skills that everyone can benefit from.
To broaden my knowledge of the mind-body connection, I’ve decided to participate in a yoga retreat this May in Bali. This will be my first time truly getting on a plane to travel outside the country as well as my first yoga retreat. I hope to gain knowledge of different ways of life beyond what I know in the United States. I hope to find a sense of complete calmness that I am able to tap into with myself and with my students. I hope to have fun, meet new people, and give back to others while using the tools that I’ve been given. This is a trip that I know will be very special to me. I would appreciate any help if possible. I am more than willing to give back to my community. Here is a list of services that I can provide:
$25= Souvenir
$40= New Orleans home cooked dinner (wine included)
$40= 1 hr. tutoring session (Grades 1-5)
$60= 1 hr. private dance lesson
$200= Choreography for a solo
$400= Choreography for a small group dance
*I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary & Special Education as well as 20+ years of dance experience (including teaching, choreography, and performance)
