WCC Caddie Fund

One of the important attributes of our Club is our caddy program, and we all have become accustomed to hard working and expert caddies helping the WCC membership navigate our golf course. Most of the WCC caddies have been with us for many years and have become our partners and friends on the course.

Unfortunately, the caddies have suffered due to the impact of the coronavirus on their livelihood. Despite the dramatic increase in rounds played, the use of caddies has declined substantially. This is in large part caused by caution and social distancing brought on by COVID concerns, and also partly a result of increased use of carts without forecaddies. There also was a period this summer when use of caddies had to be suspended due to a member caddy testing positive for COVID.

 We would like to ask for your participation in an effort to raise money for the benefit of our caddies. Our goal is to raise a meaningful amount, so that the individual share of each caddy makes a difference. Apart from the total, we also are hoping for broad participation among the WCC membership. This is wholly voluntary and while we encourage all to be as generous as possible, all donations large and small are encouraged and appreciated!
