Help Perry Fight Testicular Cancer

Life has a way of throwing unexpected challenges at us. As 2024 came to an end, Perry and I had an exciting plan—we were saving up to buy a home for our family, working hard to build a future for ourselves and our kids. We were so close. But in January 2025, everything changed.

Perry found a lump. After weeks of tests, surgery, and pathology reports, he was diagnosed with Embryonal Carcinoma— a type of Testicular Cancer.

The Financial Burden

Owning a small business in America comes with challenges, especially when it comes to healthcare. Perry was finally able to get health insurance last year, but with a $12,000 deductible, the financial strain is overwhelming. His medical bills have already surpassed that amount, and now he is facing chemotherapy to ensure every remaining cancer cell is gone. Even after meeting his deductible, the costs will still be staggering.

Who Perry Is

If you know Perry, you know he’s the guy who would give you the shirt off his back.

We met when he showed up to the classroom I worked in with school supplies for kids in need. That’s just who he is—someone who quietly helps, never expecting anything in return.

Since then, he has become a father figure to my girls, Kyra and Kyli. He has stepped up in ways that not many could, navigating the chaos of fatherhood with patience and love. He’s also dedicated countless hours coaching softball, volleyball, and basketball—mentoring young athletes, teaching them not just about sports, but about life.

He’s the guy who stops in the rain to fix a stranger’s bike tire.

The guy who will drop everything to help a friend in need.

The guy who leads with kindness and makes our community a better place.
