Hi, Kevin Martin here, my wife Kris and I own the McDonald’s in Perryton, TX.

As you know, a significant part of the city of Perryton was hit by a tornado Thursday night. We have never seen anything like this before, the destruction of property and lives is difficult to fully communicate.

Fortunately, all members of our McFamily are accounted for, however six lost their homes along with most of their possessions and one is currently hospitalized and is recovering from her injuries. Several who lost everything were at work the next day, at least one is now living in a community shelter while continuing to come to work.

We are humbled by the outpouring of offers to help, 100% of any donations will go directly to help our McFamily members put their lives back together.

All disbursements of donations will be managed by my area supervisors and our manager in Perryton and approved/accounted for by me.

On a personal note, we have never dealt with anything remotely close to this. We are learning as we go and doing the best that we can.

The outpouring of support from our all of you- our extended McFamily that includes several suppliers, owner/operators, company officials, both current and retired, is humbling and truly appreciated.
