Hello, just a daughter here helping out her dad. My dad, who has been my world, has been recently diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. My dad had been struggling to breathe for some time now. He's been in and out of the hospital recently, more times than I'd like. He recently had some tests done, and it shows a 3mm spot on his lung. He has a mass that is growing on his right lung, which is causing the airway to close and led to a collapsed lung. Yesterday, due to the amazing hospital staff at Augusta Maine Med, they finally, after a long wait, found my father a bed at one of the best cancer hospitals in Boston, and he shipped out yesterday. He has enough stress that will occur over the next several months, and I want to make sure he's covered without the stress. Anything will help, and I appreciate you all.
