As a lot of our family and friend are aware, My dad Das Stevens lost his beautiful wife very unexpectedly on Thursday 13th June 2024. Shell was a wife, mum to 3, step-mum to 2, grandmother to many, sister, best-friend and so much more. Shell cared for and helped so much. As you can imagine the loss has hit us with great impact. Shell had a huge personality and even bigger accent to go alongside that. Shell was a force to be reckoned with and would stand up for anybody that needed, even if they didn’t need it. She’d be there. Because that was the lady she was. Supportive, caring with the biggest of hearts.

Nobody ever expected an outcome like this after being poorly for only a week or two. Alongside coping with a loss so significant, we as a family now have to come to terms with planning , arranging and paying for a funeral. As anybody knows my dad and Shell were there to help anybody out. They’ve donated, taken in, supported, loved and shared their lives with so many. To show her how much we love her we want to give her the best possible send off that she deserves. Somewhere we can all pay our respects and spend time with her.

We’re now asking in return to share this page far and wide and if anybody is able to donate to help us get to that goal it is so greatly appreciated. Even if you’re unable to donate if you could share and together as a family, far and wide… We will give her the send off she deserves.

Our lives will never be the same. But we can hopefully ease some of the pain knowing she’s laid to rest peacefully.
